My Favorites

Cats, cats, and more cats.  I have  Mollyanna, Bocephus, Lucy and just inherited two orphans  Jellicle Cat and Annie Bananie  ( I am the crazy cat lady of Alexandria)

I love to read and some of my favorite books are Emma and Me, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, The Glass Castle and The Stand.

The color blue,  hearing a cat purr, the Fall season, the deck in the Summer,  tending to flowerbeds, eating seafood, traveling to Seattle and being with family and friends

The memories of the wonderful trip I took to Italy in May 2009 with good friends. Traveled from Florence to Rome with many stops along the way. Tuscan countryside scenery was beautiful and the Vatican visit was unforgettable.  Favorite stop was Assisi.  Many historical sites to see and the St. Francis Basilica was breathtaking and so peaceful!
